Project and Meeting Schedule
The watershed study will take 18 months to completed. Input from the landowners, project sponsors, and local agencies is
critical to the success of the project. For that reason, a project meeting is scheduled in Newcastle every two months.
On the proposed schedule (below) there are a minimum of six meetings that are front-end loaded to ensure that there is time
to evaluate proposed projects. Other tasks listed in the schedule include permitting, cost estimating and project financing.
A draft watershed study report will be presented to the public at a project meeting to be scheduled in August 2018. The final
report will be submitted to the Wyoming Water Development office and the Weston County Natural Resource District with copies
made available to the public at both offices and online.
INCLEMENT WEATHER MEETING CANCELLATION POLICY:
If there is a school closure anywhere in the Beaver Creek Watershed, the meeting will be cancelled.
